The Rector of Akawe Torkula Polytechnic, Makurdi, Dr. Martins Agena has called on Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), to extend it's intervention packages to the institution to help it actualize it's vision of becoming the hub for technical and vocational education in the country. Dr. Agena said this in Abuja on Tuesday during a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary of TETFund, Arch. Sunny Ochono. The Rector was accompanied by the Ag. Deputy Rector (Administration), Mr. Moses Ieren, Ag. Registrar, Mrs. Veronica Makurdi and Dean of Science, Computing and Related Technology, Mr. Amedu Aiji. The Rector said his visit was to specifically to seek TETFund's intervention to make up for the infrastructural deficit at the Polytechnic.
