Livestock Development Ministry: God Is With Us - Sen. Zam

The Senator representing Benue North-West senatorial Constituency at the upper chamber of the National, Chief Dr. Titus Tartenger Zam has has congratulated Nigerians, especially Benue farmers for the newly created Ministry of Livestock Development by the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Senator was quoted: "God is gradually but steadily coming to the rescue of our people. Today president Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has established the ministry of livestock development in Nigeria.

" The mandate of the ministry is to among other things consider the possibility of institutionalising Ranches as the best method for animals husbandary.

" When this happens, the gigantic problem of herders farmers crises will vanish and our people will peacefully return to their ancestral habitat in no distant time.

" This is happening at the heels of my nationally celebrated bill on open grazing prohibition in Nigeria. I thank God for his grace of foresight and courage to speak up on this matter in the face stiff opposition from powerful forces in the North.

" I commend president Tinubu for his leadership and determination to sort out this menace once and for all through this executive approach.

" My people keep praying for me for greater performance in the upper Chambers for the benefit of my constituency."

The new Ministry is poised to put an end to the farmers and herders crisis and the wanton killings, and as well, promote ranching as the best modern way of animal husbandry in Nigeria.

Hakim Ziyech Scores on First Premier league Start as 3 Stars Chelsea Over Minnows

Hakim Ziyech scores on his first Premier League start with Kurt Zouma and Timo Werner also on target as Frank Lampard's men pile the misery on winless hosts. The strength of Chelsea’s squad was underlined when £53million forward Timo Werner was summoned from the bench minutes before kick off to cover for Christian Pulisic’s injury in the warm-up. Frank Lampard’s plan had been to give Werner a rest after the five-thousand round trip to Krasnodar in midweek. But the German gratefully seized the unexpected opportunity to play another 90 minutes and score the third goal in one of the easiest wins seen at Turf Moor. Werner was decent but not even one of the stand-out performers given Chelsea’s dominance as they climbed to fifth.
